National Day Celebration of Chile
GTU has implemented a new Global MBA program since August 2011. GCSR (Global Country Study Report) is a prominent part of this new Global MBA program. GCSR is introduced with a vision to enable the students to enrich their management knowledge with global perspectives in competitive scenarios.
During the MBA program students have to prepare GCSR in their 3rd and 4th semesters for the country allotted by GTU. For the current year 2014-15 students of Sunshine Group of Institutions have been allotted two countries named Ecuador and Chile.
In order to explore new trade relations and business strategies of India with other global countries GTU celebrates National Day of some selected counties every year. On 21st September 2014 GTU celebrated National Day of China, Malta, Chile and Germany. For this purpose MBA students from different institutes are invited for participation in this celebration.
Every year students of Sunshine Group of Institutions participate in this event with great enthusiasm. On 21st September 2014, twenty five students from our institute participated in this celebration. They participated in presentation and cultural dance of Chile. Six students gave presentation on various aspects like economy, government, demography, trade relations etc. of Chile in front of foreign delegates of Chile and other countries. Eight students presented magnificent tap dance of Chile.
It is really a matter of proud for us that participation and behavior of our students were admired by the foreign delegates and associates of GTU. At the end of this event each student got “Certificate for Active Participation” and “Appreciation Award” for the Institute. Sunshine Group of Institutions heartily congratulates the students for their cherished achievement.

Project By MCA Students
During 2013 some of the students of SGI came up with highly innovative programs and enhanced their bars of potential. Master Hiren Makwana and his team made a project on Process Monitor that is a thread based application that provides various useful functions for processes and application running in user system which is developed in C++ / Dev. C++. Process Monitor is developed to monitor (Watch) on process. This application can stand alone and can be run on local computer. Process Monitor offers a very simple approach to get Process Start & End time regarding the processes currently running on computer. Process Monitor provides facilities like viewing the running process with their memory consumption, process start - end date & time, killing selected process, viewing the fully qualified path from where .exe file resides and more importantly it manages user wise history for further usage.

After having number of discussions and lots of communication with the IT company persons who came to our college for placement/training of MCA students, we have came to one decision that the selection process of a candidate in a company for placement or training includes following steps:

For the above mentioned steps the SGI arranged an activity programme which will help students to improve their technical knowledge as well as interview etiquettes. This programme was aimed to inculcate the above qualities and skills into the students.

2)Technical Round: students were introduced to new languages and will be given small projects in each language.
3)HR Round/Personal Interview: students were taught the etiquettes of interview with a view to improve their communication, body language and other personality development manners.
